All Ghost saddles are completely modular and are made up of 3 parts: Panels (or western skirts with integrated panels), Base, and Seat.​

There are 3 bases to choose from: Flexx (most flexible), Semi-Flexx (mid-range flex), and a more rigid base (still flexes in all the right places). All Ghost saddles have 2 stirrup positions: Dressage and a slightly more relaxed position. However, Ghost saddles will not dump you into a chair seat.​

All models can be ridden with either Ghost fenders or Ghost English leathers.​

All models can be ridden with either Ghost western skirts or standard Ghost English Panels.​

All Ghost seats are interchangeable with all Ghost bases, except for the Iberian models. Iberian seats can only be interchanged with other Iberian bases: the seats and base are specific to the Iberian range.​

Any 2 buckle English girth for use with long billets (i.e. dressage girth), works with all Ghost saddles. Western rigging is available on all models if preferred, however.​

Ghost seat shape and design, on all models (except for Buttera and Iberian models) are the same. Only the thigh blocks and flap shape/length changes from model to model.​

All Ghost saddles have a narrow twist except for Buttera and Iberian models, which have a slightly wider twist like a Baroque or Spanish saddle. Various pommel bolsters and risers are available to change the width of the seat also.​

Saddle fitters are not required to fit or maintain Ghost saddles. We help our customers either in person or remotely. We educate our customers on how to fit their saddle to their horse/s themselves and it's actually extremely easy. This is a free, lifelong, service with every new Ghost saddle purchased.​

All saddles are predominantly self-adjusting to the horse. Minor adjustments to panels or saddle pad shims may be needed if using on more than one horse. These adjustments can be easily made by you.​

The Panels (Velcro pads that attach under the saddle to form the channel) are available in different thicknesses, densities, and materials. We will advise you of the best type for you and your horse/s. You can have as many sets of panels as you do horses if necessary.​

Ghost saddles work with most good quality treeless saddle pads, as well as saddle pads made by Ghost.​

Ghost saddles are extremely light weight, weighing only a couple of kilos.​

All strapping: billets, stirrup leathers, are made from extremely strong bio thane. Real leather is also available for a small upcharge.​

Ghost saddles have no official rider weight limit. However, no weight can be put on the cantle. Ghost says “if the butt fits, it sits” 😉​

Ghost saddles can be made of 100% vegan materials at no extra cost. There are also many upgrades available at minimal additional cost. All saddles are completely customisable.​
